Working. Again. It seems like that's all I do lately. I guess that's alright though. The bar is just a home away from home and besides where else to you get to meet such beautiful women? That's excluding my sister however. Sure she frequents here but all I have to do there is keep an eye out and make sure she doesn't go home with some complete jerk. However it is her life and unless I think the man is a danger to her I leave it alone. I have my own things going on. Primarily a little blonde number that's here every night I work. i'm not cocky enough to presume that she comes here for me. In fact I'm pretty sure she has a lot on her mind. She's far too skinny and her eyes always have a sad story to tell. But then again she has a pretty smile and is the type of girl I'm looking for. I love a girl I can rescue and take care of even if it is only for a night or two.
Tonight's no different, like clock work she's in again wearing some skimpy number that I can't help but look her over in. Yeah, I'd be going home with her tonight. I'd make sure of that. She does her thing for a little while and I serve other patrons for a time before I hear that voice I'd been hoping to hear for a little while now. Was it possible she'd lost even more weight? i wouldn't say anything about that, I never did until she was asleep. I have this thing where I do that. I'm certain in her subconscious she can hear me talking to her. Smirk lighting up my face now however I finish cleaning the glass with the white bar towel and put it up heading over to the side of the bar she's at.
"Alright beautiful what can I get for you? The usual?" Normally she always got one of two things. Martini, dry or if she was feeling more girlish she'd go ahead and order a sex on the beach. Sometimes I think she's only ordering that because she wants to gauge my reaction. As a bartender I've heard so many women order that drink for that very reason. Some I went home with, some I didn't. I'm a shallow guy and I'll be the first to admit that. If the girl was less then appealing to me I wouldn't give a second glance. I'd make up some girlfriend or wife across town, with Darcy I had done that the first time. Something about her look just had rubbed me the wrong way. But her response had made it clear to me she was just the type of girl I'd want around me. "As long as we don't get caught I don't care. I'm not looking forever just tonight." How could he say no to that? "Was starting to think you wouldn't show tonight. It's almost midnight already."
